It is with great regret we have to inform you that following the
recent sale of the Stanleybet betting shops to William Hill plc,
Stanley Leisure plc has decided not to continue with its UK facing
sports betting operations.
This means that, as of midnight on Saturday 9 July 2005, www.stanleybet.com
and the Stanleybet telephone betting operation will cease trading.
We will, of course, honour all unsettled bets that are outstanding
on that date, and the bets will be dealt with in the usual way.
Any winnings will be paid to your customer account once the event
has been settled, even if this is a year or more from now.
If you do not have any unsettled bets, then any funds in your customer
account will be returned to you as soon as possible following the
closure of www.stanleybet.com.
